한국미생물·생명공학회 영남지부 학술대회가 2021년 2월 4일, 울산과학기술원에서 성황리에 개최되었다.

차재호 한국미생물·생명공학회 영남지부장의 개회사 및 현 한국미생물·생명공학회장 김건수 교수의 축사를 시작으로 부경대학교 전용재 교수(Understanding of Auto-aggregation Mechanism in an Ethanologenic Bacterium Zymomonas mobilis), 경북대학교 류홍열 교수(Histone Sumoylation and Chromatin Dynamics), 포항공과대학교 이정욱 교수(Sensitive Fluorescence Detection of Pathogenic RNAs via One-pot Isothermal Ligation and Transcription), 경상대학교 장유신 교수(Characterization of One Carbon Metabolism in Clostridium acetobutylicum), 울산과학기술원 김동혁 교수(The Fur Pan-regulon Uncovers the Complexity and Diversity of Transcriptional Regulation in Escherichia coli)의 강연이 있었다.

본 학술대회는 한국미생물·생명공학회 영남지부가 주관하고 한국미생물·생명공학회와 부산대학교 미생물자원연구소, 울산과학기술원 기초연구실(Bioenergy Research Lab, BRL)이 공동으로 주최하였다.
